“Advanced Teeth Whitening is performed in-chair at our Sydney dental practice. treatment takes under an hour and a half to complete so you can benefit from a refreshed smile fast!”
— Dr Roxanne Irani
Those little pleasures in life such as coffee, a glass of red wine or a relaxing cup of tea could actually be doing damage to the appearance of your smile! These drinks contain chemicals that eventually leave a stain on your teeth, creating a discoloured or yellowed appearance. At Dr Roxanne Irani’s Gentle and Caring Dentistry in Sydney our advanced tooth whitening treatments are designed with your needs in mind to create a fast, effective solution to tooth discolouration.
Do you want that beautiful, brighter smile in one appointment? At Gentle and Caring Dentistry we have listened to the needs of our patients and use one of the most state-of-the-art teeth whitening treatments available. Advanced Tooth Whitening is performed in-chair at our Sydney dental practice and involves gently and precisely applying the whitening solution to the teeth, taking care not to damage the soft tissues. Dr Irani will then use a special light to activate the gel to effectively whiten your smile. Best of all, this treatment takes under an hour and a half to complete so you can benefit from a refreshed smile fast!
For patients who have busy schedules and cannot set aside time for in-chair tooth whitening, we offer our take-home whitening kits. This is where we will provide you with a mouth tray and an amount of whitening gel that is to be used as directed. Since every case is different, each patient may have different instructions to get the best out of their whitening treatment. It is important to note that take-home whitening will eventually achieve the same result as in-chair whitening, however it will take longer as the treatment is staged over a certain duration of time.
While over-the-counter tooth whitening treatments may be tempting, these simply cannot assess your smile and address issues that may be causing the discolouration. At Gentle and Caring Dentistry we will always listen to your concerns prior to conducting a thorough assessment of your smile in order to identify any issues that could be the source of your discolouration.
Sometimes tooth discolouration can go deeper than a cosmetic problem, and can be caused by:
If any of these have been found to be the cause of your staining or discolouration, Dr Irani will be able to recommend an appropriate treatment to address these issues.
